We watched it last night all about cancer in a mans lower parts 1 out of 8 whites get it 1 in 4 blacks . How to check yourself and not to be afraid and ignore it caught early the cure rate is very high . BUT MOST MEN DON'T WANT TO KNOW.
The program was filled with laughter and yes they all did the full Monty in front of an audience of women but raised a lot of money . somestick

I can speak from personal experience. EVERY MAN OVER 40 SHOULD CHECK REGULARLY! I had no symptoms, but was asked to participate in a research study. Being tested resulted in the discovery of prostate cancer. I had surgery, later radio therapy, still have 6 monthly PSA tests, but the result has been another 11 years ,and counting, of good life and Morgan driving.
GET TESTED

For Christmas I was given a pair of “Oddballs” brand pants. They came with details of self checking. A good reminder as it can be done whilst putting them on.
Luckily our NHS did a scheme of going round sports clubs, ( I was coaching rugby at the time) with education of those there to do the checks.
I also get bowel cancer test kits sent to me as a NHS initiative.

Now....the Full Monty.....
JTL.....you may end up headed to the garage to recover. I have seen the publicity for the “show” and there could be some errrrr...eye popping sights! Remember....as we age our body bits head south.......

All good stuff, this..

My old mum (87yrs young) told me this lunchtime that she stayed up watching the whole show last night, until it finished at 10.30pm..!! She's normally in bed by 9pm..

Went on at length about how good it was, but completely forgot to tell me what the point of the programme was..

And speaking of which, I went to the docs to get checked last year & got sent home for time wasting as I had no symptoms..

Not much spooks me much about the human body . Think two of my doctors both retired now had a no nonsense attitude tell it as it is . As I got older watched friends and family get hit with horrid things As a child I can remember being woken by the police dads youngest brother tripped stepping from a bus and broke his neck . Then telling dad his mother had died . I started to call myself Dirty Harry as mams family used me and never said thank you. Her youngest sister was with her husband in Spain to see in 2000 . He died everyone dived for cover . I went to our local u/taker but he had to wait for the insurance company to pay up to fly the body back . It took a month to get his body back . But my aunt was flown around Europe on several planes till one got her to the midlands . I took their motor and picked her up my mother with me .
They had take her electric buggy to bits checking it for drugs . After asking them to put it back together a woman got lippy and rude . I went down her throat it was sorted instantly . The body took over a month to return , insurance company dragging there arse . I had returned their disability car, but my aunt received a speeding ticked for her husband he had been clocked in London . I phoned and got a lippy woman AGAIN it got to the point I told her to take my aunt to court and I will come with my uncles death cert wonder what the judge will say . My aunt heard no more . By the time the body arrived and in Spain they bury you the next day due to heat . The undertaker I knew well. No one would go and look at the body , I went it was a dark battle ship grey his beard had grown and the body was bloated filled with gas . The u/taker and I had to lift it up as the death certificate was underneath him and in Spanish . I told the u/taker to put him in his wood coffin and close the lid his wife could not see that.

Funny my cousin who lives down South his 2nd wife asked who is sorting it out and he said "our John " she relied " then it will get done correctly then " . A few year later when this aunt had come to terms with it gave me a nasty time as she wanted to see the body ect ect . She has very bad nerves and is highly strung can cause trouble with only herself . So I walked away I knew it was only a mater of time . But I did it from the heart not the head as when my father died her husband had sat in the car one day and asked would I let him help me grieve he had spoken to dad . He said he could never stand in my dads shadow so I let him . I felt sorry for him .

As for the garage I completed the mog clean this a/noon thats 2 weeks everything except the engine and its bay. Then it goes for a bit spray work and service . I think Mog Talk can do a Full Monty the time I have been under that car I must have the cleanest best kept nuts in the UK and can can show them to anyone . Better take some gloves for the lads at the garage dont want finger prints on them .

Any enlightenment on this topic is good and if you don't play Pooh sticks every other year you really are being rather foolish.

Well done to the boys on stage, and the girls this evening.

A few years ago I volunteered to provide blood and take part in a research programme for prostate cancer.

This was a big deal for me as I'm a fainter.

They didn't mention they wanted six phials af blood until I was in the chair.

At least when I went woozy the nurse had a great bedside manner.

And I was well looked after all afternoon when I eventually got home, a battleship grey colour.

My tests were negative thankfully.
