We get on well because we both have hobbies and we share some hobbies.

I believe that hobbies are fundamental to domestic bliss and world peace. Especially if it includes drinking wine.

Dictators don't seem to have many hobbies. Except world domination.

Congratulations Dave, enjoy having the time to do what YOU (and Mrs. W) want to do. I retired in June after 45 years and can honestly say that I don’t know how I ever found time to work.
Grandkids are great because you can enjoy them then hand them back when you’ve had enough laugh2

Congratulations Dave, I also did the same today after 43 years. It was a great drive home - didn't give a damn about the traffic.

Here's to many years of doing whatever makes us all happy and also savour the next 3 months Peter.

It's going to be a great summer!

They are also fundamental to good health. In days gone by, many railmen who were used to working extremely long hours and had no hobbies didn't live very long after retirement.

Congratulations, Mr, DaveW, have a nice and safe retirement, you'll have 40 years to enjoy your Morgan. Well, maybe 45 ¿who knows, maybe 50? Ok, 55 more years, tops.

Congratulations Dave.

I took early retirement at the age of 59 and at the age of 67 have enjoyed every moment.

Time you started on a new book I think !!!

Best Wishes
