Very wet out there yesterday - saturday , only briefly did it stop raining then it started again , lots of pot holes which are getting bigger on all A roads travelled on and lots of large puddles on the smaller roads , thank goodness for the sound of the v8 which makes up for the weather !

Yes, although only out of the carcoon so I could fold it up, then back in the garage. Looking forward to a nice dry day when I can stretch the cars legs.

On to the drive to wash off the mud... then I'll wash the C43 which collects mud in a way that suggests the body has strange properties....!

And back into the garage, now looking spick and span.

I even washed the inside of the bonnet and sprayed the engine with Muck-Off Bike protect, when wiped down it looks shiny!!

Now, a dry day to enjoy it?

Tomorrow is out, that is certain. Thursday looks fine...dry, not cold. A day out beckons!

'twas dry here!

A run through the New Forest to pick up a leg of lamb (any excuse!) - it must be almost my only run on dry roads in months.

& I did start to wonder, in the odd moments where I could open up the taps on a bend, whether the oversteer feeling has diminished, and the handling is now quite neutral. Pushing around a very large roundabout I felt that I had oversteer from the loud pedal, but not from the steering wheel.
I wonder if it'll stay that way when the tarmac & tyres are warmer.

I must check the tyre pressures & see where they're at.

The Aero & tyres have now done almost 6,000 miles... I wonder if everything's settled in a bit. And the driver too.

Will

We were down at Castle Leslie in Monaghan for lunch. Lovely. My wife, and all the other lady diners got a miniature rose plant with about 5 buds on it.
It's a good test for the sump guard. The Monaghan speed limit of 80kmph is aspirational and it would take nerves of steel to attain it.
Good to get it back out of the garage.
Hope to meet you on 22nd at Carrickfergus.
