2014 4/4 25,000 in 3 years
2011 +4 Supersport 2000 miles in 1 month.

If I do that sort of mileage this year....it’s going.

If I do that sort of mileage this year....it’s going. Easy solution to that - sell your other cars.

Tarka has just reached 34484 miles and is 4 years old on Monday.
So 8621 a year.
Actually Tarka was built in July 2013, but not registered by MMC until 2 April 2014. Quite why is unclear, no one at the factory knows why it wasn't registered for so long. A number of road tests by journalists show the car on trade plates.
But in the first 10 months of its existence MMC put 15370 on it, so an annual rate of 18,444 a year! Other than the vac cap failure the car has been flawless: I firmly believe that these cars are better used than not used.
Since then I've enjoyed 19114 miles in the 41 months I've owned it, so about 5500 a year.
We do a similar milage on the other 2 cars, so 16,000 a year in all.

If I do that sort of mileage this year....it’s going. Easy solution to that - sell your other cars. I had a similar thought, but I'm no better. Put 10k on the 4/4 in my first 4 years of ownership, but not driven it for nearly 6 months. Very remiss of me

7000+ per year except for last year . Bit less due to a house move. I use her as a semi daily driver as  uses the tintop. New house is within walking distance of town so that journey is off the list too. I played less golf last year too so fewer trips for away matches to other is morning I have started clearing the new house garage to move the Mog in (still in the old house garage due to weather. We are pencilling in a trip to France this summer as an alternative holiday, no real details sorted yet though. Some weekends planned ..... Wicked Welsh, TOTH....

John I have taken the Plymouth/Roscoff Ferry in previous years and enjoyed driving down but this time beat me into submission. Helen and I are taking the Plymouth Santander ferry route (26hours).
