Probably around 12000 a year spread between the cars. It very much depends on the suitability of sailing weather !!

I have an hypothesis, which is this:

Anyone who regularly drives more than 4,000 miles a year isn't averse to having the hood up. People who only drive top-down tend to do less than 4,000 a year.

This on the basis that it's not possible to drive much in the UK without encountering rain.

19800 miles in 4 years.
A little less than 5000 miles a year.

We were only talking about this recently when someone asked if I drove it all the time. Our first 4/4 was our only car and it covered 30000 each of the first three years. It dropped off a bit when my wife was given her first car but we still managed around 260,000 overall. Nowadays, no 4 it is down a lot and I have only managed 6000 since I brought her back from BHM in 2016. First long trip here was down to Avignon and back.

I seem to drive about 4,500 miles in the Morgan, and another 10,000 in the tintop a 2007 Jag S type.

I think you have a very valid point there. I try to never drive with the hood up so I would fit into your category.

My best Aero year for miles was 31,000 on my Series 4, second best was 21,000 on my Series 3.

My Morgan plus 4 is a late 2015 plate and has now done 30k in less than 3 years. It was an ex MMC car and I did 2300 miles in her in March. I am actually running it as one of our company cars , company car tax not bad, 8% Write down allowance and company cough for running. I use everyday to go down to yard (except in the snow) . Been to meetings in Oxford, Cambridge and Whitwell. Shopping in Cheltenham and weekend jaunts to Cotswolds. Hardcore with roof up on motorway at 80/90. But still love it. Sometimes she goes in garage, others just leave it out. I do enjoy hammering it and using her all the time. By end of year will do at least another 10k. Be interesting to see how it all plays out. Totally reliable so far.

That probably explains my low mileage this past 12 months Tim.....I hate driving with the roof up or in the rain. The car leaks badly under the dash and has always put me off the rain. And before anyone says....no it can’t be cured unless Morgan make a new body shell for me! And of course I now live in a rainy part of the country!!
