Simpler for me to plug these all in here. Not strictly M3W! Gallery foto manager gave size restriction of 1mb. These are the oldies. Also a great hit was F16, a contrast to the Vampires! We had a Catalina flight which did lake touch and go. Very special Spitfire mk9  Aston Martin. One of 24. £2million!!  Kittyhawk  Mustang  Yak3  Harvards times 11  Close formation with DC3 from Catalina  Catalina pilot eye view  Duxfords very own ME109. Shipped to NZ for the show

Bit of thread drift but when I was a boy I hero worshiped Robert Stanford Tuck ( as a change from Douglas Bader) and a prized possession was his biography, " Fly for your Life". Lost I know not when I spent many years looking for a replacement. Two years ago. I was in Devenport across the bay from Auckland in NZ wasting time in a secOnd hand bookshop.. I asked as I always did in such shops if they had the book, "sure" said the owner, " it's over here"!
I felt very emotional and the book is now in pride of place in my study.
Told you it was thread drift.

Great drift, I too have found some pearls in the Devonport second hand bookshops, mainly of a nautical nature, I dont live far away.

I have been at Biggin Hill in the Mog on a special run when both a Spitfire & that ME109 started up next to us. Fabulous sounds.
