Richard, I must admit early in the year on dry open roads it is fun. After a while I get sensible but this time of year it makes me feel alive especially after all that wet weather. Me too! When the weather gets hot I find I relax and slow down, but these first warmer dry days are just made for having fun.

Frost yesterday morning on top of Malvern Hills, roof white over on Morgan when left home as I left her out. Blasted across to Holden Morgan for 9am (yes roof up) to sort new Valance that I am waiting for. Julian Parker has left never to return apparently. So had to start enhancement program again from scratch. They were very apologetic. Sun out on way back. Roads filthy in Herefordshire and full of slow drivers. Still amazes me that the novelty of driving this car has not worn off. Unlike many other cars I have owned.

I did a few little jobs on the 4/4 this morning, then went for the necessary test run. I have a favourite short circuit of about 30 miles, which includes some glorious East Devon scenery. Lifts the spirits.

Busy day, back wheel off the F Super, swop the tyre, clean up all the greasy chain crud, refit & re-tension chain, and rear brake, then out for a blast to test
Then back home, drop the oil whilst it's still hot & do all the engine & ignition stuff, few more bits in the next couple of weeks to do and then we're ready for 'Drive it Day'
Unfortunately I don't know how to post photos

First startup for the year. Me happy. Mr Harris (my -98 +8) started without hesitation.

Did a 100 kilometre round trip yesterday and at 11,500 miles beginning to find 7000 rpm from time to time. Seems quite quick.
