A few months ago I posted a problem I had. I had been trying to purchase stainless steel exhaust "U" clamps for my Roadster's very expensive exhaust system or in fact any Morgan car, and I found a very good friendly USA Morgan owner who was prepared to put himself out to help me find a product that would enhance the beautiful stainless steel exhaust system that would fit all Morgan car owners' treasured possesions, but they tend to fit cheap zinc plated "U" bolts onto a very expensive exhaust system that rusts within 6 months. I am now pleased to let you all know that there are 2 1/8" stainless steel "U" bolts on the market from the USA. If you are interested please let me know.

By the time you posted the subject Graham gave me some infos (thanks Graham) but unfortunately this kind of parts seem to have vanished from Europe. I found S/S U bolts but never found any "saddles" in stainless steel, so I use zinc plated chip ones. You can PM me if you want. BR. Daniel.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I wanted to get them into the UK and fitted to the Roadster to make sure everything was OK before letting you all aware of the supplier. Contact; www.speedwaymotors.com in the USA and put into their search box 910-13011-2.125-raw and it will take you to the stainless steel U clamps 2-1/8" for the Morgan, in the States they are called Muffler Clamps. I hope this helps

There is another company in the USA who manufacture heavy duty stainless steel U bolt exhaust clamps but they don not manufacture 2.1/8" they make everyother size but that one. They are called "JEGGS" Try www.jeggs.com

Sorry my mistake, I must have hurt my head on a bar stool last night. The company is www.jegs.com and the code number for exhaust clamps is 289-32219 and they manufacture almost every size
