The weights on my wheels are on the inside and they're the adhesive type.

They're barely noticeable as they're almost the same colour as the wheel, which is silver.

The balance weights on my Roadster are zinc and have polished up really well.

Beware that some have an iron content and will rust unless painted. This also applies to adhesive weights.

And that they are all likely to mark the rim when removed, except stainless rims, which can be polished out.
