Lunch in a pub. If you go to Greenwich (2d stop on the train from London Bridge) be sure to take the boat back. Grab a ‘Boris’ bike and the town is yours. If you go to Greenwich this pub is next door RHS on the embankment if you face the river. http://www.trafalgartavern.co.uk/ Or just nip down the adjacent alley to The Yacht - an old stomping ground of mine.

How do you get a Boris Bike, do you pay by card? Do you have to wear a helmet? Do they get nicked?

Boris Bikes are great if you are with someone who knows where they’re going. IMHO bl**dy dangerous if you don’t. If you are in Central London and near St James, have a pint in the Red Lion, Duke of York Street (Off Jermyn Street). Proper, glorious little pub.

How do you get a Boris Bike, do you pay by card? Do you have to wear a helmet? Do they get nicked? Yes. No. Not really, as you tend to ride them from docking station to docking station.

I’ve pre booked a ticket for the ferrari exhibition, I hope it’s not full of other sad gits like me If you ever pass that way there is a tremendous Ferrari exhibition in the car storage area at Graypaul Nottingham. There must have been 50 Ferraris there when I visited, everything from a la Ferrari down to a 246 Dino.
