Thanks Neil, will look out for it, looks fascinating.

I guess you're always on the look out for clues to link people to legacies. Happy hunting.

Hmmn... that is a very interesting topic. Must catch up with that when I have the chance (perhaps someone has left me some money that I don't know about laugh2 )

Neil,

Was having a coffee at home the other morning and your programme came on, apparently Head Office watches it most mornings. Very interesting, you must have some really good stories to tell.

The amounts left intestate seem fairly small, do you ever get one running into millions or even tens of millions? Who is the other Fraser in the company, did you set it up Neil or was it left to you? Can you use your databases to do ancestor searching as well, maybe that would be an interesting line-extension. grin2

All in all, very interesting and should maybe prompt a thread of who does what as their day job on the site: Simon.

Cheers
Aeroman

Hi Neil,

Oh well, as no one picked up on my 'hilarious' joke above.....

I also saw an episode the other day which actually starred your very self smile

What does intrigue me is how you get paid. I appreciate you probably take a commission for finding them but what if they dont pay or agree? Can they then just go and look up all the intestate notices until they find the relevant one? I also appreciate that most people will accept and sign up as they are understanding people (I see you put a lot of effort into it) and as they were not expecting anything and therefore anything is a bonus.

If you have any Abbosh's legacies lying around then please feel free to let me know.

BtG

PS I dont normally get out of bed for less than 7 figures so make sure you find me a big 'un wink

Cheers

Now had time to read the responses to this thread. You dont want to know what people have been asking, I have received over 100 phone calls every day for the last 3 weeks, I have not even added up the e-mails, some people just dont seem to understand that just by giving me there family tree I could make there family fit in the estates we are looking at, and that because there surname is the same doesnt mean they are an heir.

It is true if I find someone and they dont sign then I miss out, we try not to give too much info away until we have a contract.

I have now checked the "Summersby-Chesworth" family and it looks like you have outstanding debt's so I will put the bailiff in contact I am sure they can get a quick sale of a black Aero even if it does have side pipes.

Aeroman,

We have done a few cases that run into the millions. The biggest about 4.5 mill last year to 2 brothers I think it ended up about 9mill but I didnt get the contract!

Most of our cases are about 100k so not pocket change, but not the very large sums you would want, still a tidy sum if someone was to give it to you out the blue.

The 2 Frasers are my father and uncle who have now retired.

We can search for ancestors but it is not very profitable so we try to keep away for that.

I checked the database and could not find any ref to Aeroman or even Aero as a surname, but to my surprise the is a "Andrew M Aerozoo" now if anyone should own an Aero it should be him.
