A pleasant amble down the Fosse Way to Moreton in Marsh and back. 143 mile round trip. Saw some interesting cars but no other Morgans. Got caught out by the weather - on the way back I needed a thin coat but had only a medium weight one with me. Keeping my speed up helped but got a bit warm at junctions.

The Greyhound and Pilgrim in the Dart earlier this evening. Very nice Richard. I do like to see classic sailing vessels in use

300+ mile round trip Kent-Dorset-Kent with twotribes jr in the 4/4 to watch Bournemouth vs Man Utd. Highlight was sunny drive down on A roads. Lowlight was unannounced closure of M3 on return leg and gridlock through Camberley.
What morons at the Highways Agency think that the best use of the M3 electronic gantry signage is to announce an M4 closure rather than the upcoming M3 closure in a few junctions? Allowing people to get off the M3 early at different junctions would spread the traffic load and avoid chaos. And to think that my tax gets used to pay these Public Sector cretins.
