Well, not really, no. Of those 7, 3 are stripped out race spec cars, 2 are new, 1 is very nearly new, and the 7th is the one I’ve already mentioned at Thorne’s.

Well you didn't say you weren't interested in a racer - just trying to help, lesson learnt don't worry  .. Go for a Plus8 and own an icon instead  .

This lovely roadster have already the can bus, it's a rare one with trad hood, i am sure this one won't last that long the price is also good that help too.

Perusing the various websites on the lookout for a Roadster, and there hardly seems to be any used ones coming up - lots of new or very nearly new. Thorne's has a nice looking black number, and there is a metallic blue up in Cheshire, but that's it! Is it just the time of year or are there really no sellers right now? Sales ebb and flow - I've noticed that in other soft top cars. I've also noticed that everyone now seems to start looking in november and the attractive sales have been made by January. That happened to me this year with another marque.

I notice that one dealer local to me has a new roadster for sale at £64,999. I was aware that prices had increased but missed the significance to well spec'd cars.

No, you’re quite right, I should have been a bit more specific, but when the market seems as barren as it is beggars can’t be choosers! Perhaps re-commissioning a race car could be the way? I have seen the blue one you mentioned advertised too, but it’s in Cheshire and I’m not,, so ‘popping in’ is a bit of a challenge! There’s something about the seats that looks a bit odd- horizontal stripes and very plump headrests, but maybe it’s just me... (stands to be corrected!)

Think the silver Oakmere one has been sold.
As for travelling to view a car I find there are not many on your doorstep.
I travelled from North Wales tto Eastbourne to view my Morgan after travelling down to Bristol to Williams ,Richard Thorne,Allon Whites,Harpers ,SGT,and Rutters !
The Roadster at Tim Ayres has been rebuilt and worth a look .
I think there are at least three adverts in Miscellany for wanted Roadsters
