Hi been a while since I have been here, having too much fun with the Shelby, however I have been looking for a new toy and couldn't find anything really R8, DB9, Ferrari 575M, Maserati Grandturismo or even a Quattroporte, But nothing really comes close to my previous cars Maserati 3200, Aero8 Series 1 or the Shelby Daytona, and then I saw the Eva.
Put a deposit down within am hour of seeing it. I have however just received back the confirmation and I have a customer number of EVA 191 and a build date of early 2013, is this a build number i.e there are 190 people ahead of me or only 190 people have registered to show interest.

Neil, At last count there were many thousands of people who had expressed interest and therefore, 190 would seem to denote your place on the list of deposits. From the start, MMC have said the first 100 cars will be built in 2012 and therefore, based on 100 a year, #191 would put you into year 2 (hence your 2013 date). The only glitch in my reasoning would be that you have been told early in 2013 and if it takes 12-months to build 100, my assumption is #191 would put you into October or November 2013.

From the start, MMC have said the first 100 cars will be built in 2012 and therefore, based on 100 a year, #191 would put you into year 2 (hence your 2013 date). The only glitch in my reasoning would be that you have been told early in 2013 and if it takes 12-months to build 100, my assumption is #191 would put you into October or November 2013. Maybe they just want to make people wait, if they say already that it is for the end of 2013, it can mean mid 2014 or early 2015 in MMC langage

If you are doing nothing, how do you know when you are finished?

Hi Neil - they gave me #172 available late 2012 so seems to fit with your date.

There are two lists as far as I know. One list for people who have registered interest - by all accounts 1,000s of people - and a second list for those who have registered interest and put down a deposit (in the hundreds) My guess is eva2036 means you were the 2,036 person to register for more information and show an interest. Either that or you gave them £5,000 and there are now 24-years of cars to be produced before you'll get yours

Has anyone received any update from MMC? After I paid my deposit I was told to expect news every three months, now it is five and no word........just curious
