This has been a quandry of Mine for some time. Less is better IMO. But Morgans have badges. If I am on a run to British Columbia I carry the PACMOG Badge. If I am on "FLOG MOG" I carry the Northern California Club and FLOG MOG BADGE. I alway carry My Home Club Badge of MOGNW. When I was at LeMans for the 50th I mounted the French Badge and MORGANS FINEST HOUR. Another words I try to be courteous to the Club Event I am visiting. If I spend a bit of time at these Club Events I join their Club. Such as Northern California and British Columbia.
I have a considerable number of Morgan Badges as well as a lot of UK Badges I bought at a "Flea Market" near Oxford.

My most ornate badge is EMOG. The history of the NBC (Naughty Boys Corner) the most interesting.

My Centenary badge corroded so badly that I had to remove it before it fell off.

The facing pitted badly, the black paint fell out around the sides, and one stud in particular has little in the way of threads remaining.

I obtained a replacement from New England Morgans, but it's on the bench.

For me, it’s 5...... However only 4 on the badge bar: MSCC, HOPMOG, BHM & an old-style AA badge! No. 5 is a GEM “V” badge with ‘52’ in the middle, which languishes in the centre of the radiator grill.

I’d been a member for 52 years when I got Morgie, so I phoned the GEM membership team to ask if they had any of the ‘old’ badges, and when I told them that I was a proud new owner of a 1997 +4 Morgan, the man went down in to their ‘archive’ room & found an original “V” badge; they then made up the ‘52’ number for it & sent it to me the next day, FOC - the only condition was that they wanted a photo of Morgie with the badge on, for their photo library.

So it sits proudly amidst my collection.

Having always been undecided I have now, somewhat passively, become a badge displayer.

A while ago my local MSCC branch produced a very nice chrome badge of our redesigned logo, so I bought one and for a year or so kept it on my bookshelf at home.

Then last November I picked up a good second-hand badge bar through these very forums (thanks again Stewart) and for the last few months I have been driving around with my solitary SogMog badge on display. I found that the bracket wouldn't accommodate the slight bend in the middle of the bar so I had to have the badge on one side.

I am also a member at Goodwood so at the weekend I gritted my teeth and ordered one of their highly expensive club badges. It arrived yesterday, beautifully wrapped in several layers of tissue paper sealed with Goodwood coat of arms and delivered by Securicor. I have attached it this morning so now I feel balanced again.

Which brings me to a question of my own: has anyone ever had a badge stolen from their car? Given that the SogMog one is now unobtainable and the GRRC badge appears to be solid silver, I don't really don't want to lose either of them so any security advice gratefully received.
