When I bought my first Aero S3 back in 2012 I proudly drove it the first week into the local town.......and was gutted to pass another one coming out of the town!!! :-) Never seen it before or since!!!

When I had my Series 3 in Bentley Silverlake, IMHO the best ever colour for the Aero, I was driving into my village in my Mercedes only to see my car being stolen, driven towards me!!!
Turned out it was another S3 in Bentley Silverlake!!! The principal reason I went to matt black textured paint with yellow leather and yellow wheels for my S4. I didn't want the chance of thinking someone had stolen my car.

Tok Tarka out, I wore shorts, it was that warm!
Drive around Salisbury today, running chores, including a new garden tap from B&Q, a CO2 cylinder for the water chiller/carbonator (fits behind the seats on the parcel shelf) and cat food.
The activities were mundane, but it didn't matter, Tarka was magnificent.
Tomorrow will be wonderful, I'm going to take the side screens off!
It is really great to have A/C blowing cold air over my legs!!

Blast down the A1 to NT Clumber Park and lunch in Bawtry - great Mog driving day.
Never thought I would need air con in April with the roof down. works well at keeping you cool though with that big V8 up front.

Ludlow to Thruxton to Farnborough to Wimbledon to Ludlow today in the S5. 300 plus miles, didn't check exactly. Nice run out though!

after having used the S1 much less over the winter, its been great to be back to using her on the daily commute to the office. Its been roof down this week ... a great way to clear the head before work ... and to recover afterwards ...

I took the S2 out to meet a contact in Reading and then up to London for a meeting with an old colleague yesterday. I always forget how much fun it is to drive it with less weight and manual gearbox compared to the Coupe. It really does feel like a rocket. I came home around 9.30-11.00pm on a lovely night with the top down. Coupe out today, check the sump before going anywhere!
