Down into Dorset on Saturday for lunch at the delightful Summer Lodge Hotel.

The Aero's definitely running cooler than last year in warm weather.
Which could be...
... at nearing 6,000 miles and freshly serviced, it's run in
... there was a kink in the pipework for the oil cooler - now that's fixed oil can flow freely
... the reduced numberplate size increases airflow to the radiators
... the temperature gauge is on the blink.

Could be any or all of the above!

Will

They were far to competitive only 0.5 seconds between the 2 cars. I'm going to need to shift a serious amount of ballast if I wanted to compete or persuade then to introduce a handicap system.

I didn't realise you attended the weight watchers at Anglesey.

Please don't go on the track and stand sideways on as you'll disappear. smile

Good luck

Drove mine today and got rather wet.... I went out without the sides on and, of course, the heavens opened. I put the roof on, but got extremely wet all the same. Lots of drying in the garage when I got home.

I think, actually I know, the Wolf Racing rubbing plate saved my sump plug again.... another clonk on a badly surfaced country lane. I am always amazed at how low and how unprotected the Aero is.

Good on you they do need using but a proper downing really does take a bit of dedication to dry out properly. Of course the best way is a very brisk run out in the dry but I suspect that was not possible today.

Good news about the sump protection though.

I got caught out this morning....hood down, side screens absent.

I discovered that at 60 and above I wasn't getting wet.... but any slower and yes, I and the car was getting wet.

Fortunately only 2 miles from home, but that was enough.
