I know not everyone is a fan, but any car programme is better than none (well OK,excluding Quentin Wilson....) - https://classics.honestjohn.co.uk/news/c...arage%20RevivalPopular television mechanic Edd China gives a sneak preview of his new programme – a pilot episode for Edd China’s Garage Revival.
In the first show, Edd will be visiting people who’ve got themselves stuck with a classic car project and offering an orange glove-clad pair of hands.
Edd aims to kickstart the stalled project, breathing new life into it and inspiring owners and enthusiasts to get back in the garage and get their classics out on the road.
In this short promo, he’s seen helping Norwegian car enthusiast Stian Jorgensen with his Mk1 Volkswagen Golf GTI. Stian is having a little trouble getting a carb-fed 16-valve engine to fit, but luckily Edd is on hand to help.Might be worth a watch.... James

O.K.' we are all obviously fully entitled to our own opinions but having met Quentin on a number of occasions I must say I find him a very nice chap with more knowledge than most of us have with regard to the classic car market.

I always thought he was a bit like Chris Harris on TG, great character and knowledge that seems to bork when on TV in a fully scripted manner.
Chris's videos on YouTube were great fun yet the first seasons BBCTG were painful.
It is a pity that the script level cannot be reduced to let the talented people shine more.

This will be one to watch, i enjoy Edd's approach to mechanics.
