It went quite far out. I helped the chap get it recovered onto the trailer, it wouldn't steer.

It's always so sad to see someone's P&J end up like this. The love and care that's gone into making it, the expectation and excitement of the new owner can't be replaced.
I hope it's a better ending for the last owner, anyway.
Any ideas, Craig..? Have you kept in touch at all..? I don't know the guy, I was just there to help him on the day. I did call a few weeks later and left a message with his wife, but he never called back. The main thing he wasn't hurt. He's a very lucky chap, he went through the wired fence which damage the leather on the dash, he could of taken his head off!!

Did you find out why he lost control Craig? I can imagine an in car conversation along the lines of - “you just can’t believe how powerful this new Roadster is . . . . . . . . . . Oh shiiiiiii” Richard Thorne told me he's thinking about offering purchasers of new Roadsters / Plus 8 and Aero's the chance of a day of high performance driving tuition, to reduce the chances of the performance catching then out.
