Spent the weekend at village farewell events in the evenings and Sunday lunch times ahead of the move to darkest Suffolk.
I am not driving right now till I sober up!

Christian's comments said it all - it will not be happening again.
That's a shame, F1's too sterile without some proper wheel to wheel battles I think he was referring to the crash, I certainly hope so. Both drivers were very contrite and "team" apologetic in the post race interviews.

Good weekend at Prescott, though rather damp yesterday - in the 90 due to rather wet ground and I wanted to be able to exit without churning up the parking area...  We left about 14.45 and cars in the car park were already getting stuck. Were there any real problems. I must admit that water on the track afforded quite a spectacle re spray.

Took the new. To me 4/4 on it's first run to day. Cold open top drive to mumbles, Gower past about the 30 old Rileys out on a run. Waved to a few got no response, so gave up, anti social b...RS.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Good to hear it went well apart from the antisocial Rileygits.. Just a bit jealous having holidayed in the Gower last year  .

A 90 mile run in the Weinviertel (I've only got the one map) with about 200 other autos of varying degrees of classicness. My luck to be stuck behind a Nissan Prairie! But leading the 5 Morgans was the cool bit. Ray, just to say good luck with the new Mog and can understand the sad parting from the old Plus 8. Now sitting in dust bowl Dubai waiting for the connection to Bris. Why don't they water their lawns here?

A pleasant amble back from the Forest of Dean today. Hood down until we got to Moreton in Marsh and then Management decreed that it was too cold to carry on topless. A much better journey than the very wet Friday drive we had to get there.

Given the sun being out I used quick detailer on the car & then went for a run through the Chiltern Hundreds ( North Dean, Speen, Lacey Green , Princes Risborough & back via Kop Hill and Prestwood).
A lovely day with blue bells out in the woods.
Hopefully on the 9th I will be driving the car to our new home in Suffolk.
