Ah, Trimley, very posh! You will no doubt have heard of Sizewell nuclear power station, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness? In a small village about three miles from those. Very quiet, well mostly! Lovely new pier at Felixstowe for you to sit on and soak up the sunshine, and the sea breeze!

Nice little 30 mile round trip encompassing Dartmouth Halwell Totnes Paignton Kingswear the Higher ferry Dartmouth and home lovely. Lots of thumbs up and big wave from a Red M3W.. MP03 MOG.
The smell of the flowering Oil seed rape quite overwhelming on the air.

I have sailed out of Levington Marina many times.
But in the early 70s !
It was usually v cold - but great fun!
Out Dingy club was based at Felixstowe Golf Course - well right by it.
A tricky estuary to sail in and out of!

Living overlooking the estuary it was just too tempting. Had to buy a wet suit though....the waters cold up here 😳

Totnes and return for the 19 year olds MOT she passed again  . Passed an older dark blue Plus 8 with an F prefix plate, no wave he did look elderly though ..
