I hope it's not a full write-off. A new set of fibreglass wings from Sid Watson, a bit of judicious bending back of bits and pieces, and that would make a complete bargain.

Looks like the crosshead has moved back so its bound to need a new chassis. Not difficult but you need time and space.

Was under a tarpaulin at Richard Thornes for a couple of weeks post accident.

Picture doesn't do justice to the amount of damage. Definite new chassis and significant work.

If it was a simple job then I'm sure he would have looked at taking it on.

Anything can be rebuilt I suppose, it's just a question of time and money, look at Rowan Atkinsons F1......

It's always so sad to see someone's P&J end up like this. The love and care that's gone into making it, the expectation and excitement of the new owner can't be replaced.

I hope it's a better ending for the last owner, anyway.

Any ideas, Craig..? Have you kept in touch at all..?

I could see a dealer buying it to repair.

The owner was driving through our village in the 30 mph zone, he then put his foot down as he entered the national limit zone. I believe the car got the better of him and sent him through the wired fence, quite far out into the field
