My Grandaughter was chuffed when the pilot of a Spitfire waved at her today.... Spitfire Lovely drive out in the Aero, also found an Ultima there....

A Spitfire flew over us 2 weeks ago and did aerobatics above us and before flying off it dipped its wings over us , right chuffed we were !
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .

We live about a mile from the M25 and we are always seeing vintage planes (more often than not, Spitfires) my wife doesn’t believe me when I tell her they use the M25 to navigate!

It's quite inspiring to see the elliptical shape of the wing and sound as a British person. If you were from a british military family who raised you following the war then walking around the BBMF hangar will bring quite a moment. It's well worth a visit.
My respect to the professionals on all sides.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I totally agree whenever I visit Duxford and look at the guys working on the Warbirds I find it a very moving experience full of thoughts of my late father.
Whenever I hear that V12 it sends a shiver down your spine looking forward to seeing the Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire at the Torbay Airshow on 2 and 3rd June.
I must get across to see the BBMF sometime though.

Me too. I unfortunately missed a tour with a group of fellow Morgan owners a couple of years ago (needed to be at home  ).

When we play golf at Gravesend a Spitfire often flies over and does aerobatics above the course and the Thames. Lovely sound as it passes overhead. Probably one of the leisure flights out of Biggin Hill.
