I’m a member of a kit car club. Taken the Morgan to some of the events and I describe it as “a kit car replica” with tongue firmly in cheek.
I do love the look of those Z3 based 250 Cals. Thought about it before buying the Morgan but the price soon adds up to what I spent on buying the Morgan.

Crikey, have I got a Morgan replica? It's got some kind of ford engine and nothing fits properly, someone said the wheels came from India. Must have been cobbled up in a pretty archaic way. Sounds like a genuine Morgan to me

The Z3 conversion is done in Redditch. Thought about it for mine, however a 4-pot motor just would not sound at all right. On top of that, a potential new job role means I will keep the 4/4 and replace the Z with a cheapish runabout - a 54 mile round trip would soon pile on the miles.
