Reckon thats the truth. In the London area where this video was shot, the overcrowding is so bad that its "survival of the fittest". I notice it every time I visit my daughter in Ashtead - there is just no way that anyone gives way to anyone else as they do ( sometimes) back here.

And the worst of it in one way is that whilst you used to be able to rely on civilised polite behaviour from the fair sex, thats no longer the case. Young women in three door hatches are just as bad as young men.

Personally it washed over me and I dont toot the horn or gesture or even swear to myself. But oddly, SWMBO who does most of the driving these days, has taken over the role of critiquing other road users.

True when driving a Tin Top, but I find when I'm out in the Morgan people are always letting me out and/or giving way to me. I always make sure I give them an extra cheery wave of thanks.

I think you'll find that testosterone is still the most dangerous hormone when it comes to driving behaviours.

However, I'd still rather deal with an aggressive driver than an indecisive one. The first is predictable and you can keep/get out their way. The second one gives you no clue what random stupidity they are about to perform.

I can usually shrug this off, especially in the Plus 4, but the Roadster is more challenging when you know it will despatch most things in daily driving.

I still smile about an encounter with a biker girl in a Golf GTI on the A38 a long while ago. It was at a roundabout where lane 2 & 3 is for the A38. I happened to chose Lane 3. Alongside in lane 2 came tatooed smoking biker girl, window down and music on, and lowered suspension.

I still didn't twig what was about to unfold. The lights went green and it was suddenly Santa Pod. With a screech of tyres and cloud of smoke she launched it............................

How could I resist that, even with MrsW in the car, it was just irresistable. I could only hold position around the roundabout, but we got straightened up, I floored it and hit the limiter in second and third gear and she was a dot...........
So childish and so satisfying at the same time.

We had an interaction with a big Jag estate on Monday out in the wilds. He was close up as we turned onto a long straight stretch of deserted country road. I gave it the beans to see what he had, and he couldn't keep up. I slowed for a level crossing (we still have them) and gave it the beans again, He still couldn't keep up, so I backed off and of course he came past at a rate of knots.........

A daily occurrence at the double mini-roundabouts at the end of our road. Drivers have a tendency to notice the first, then drive straight over the second. We have tried to get the local council to reconfigure the junction with a single roundabout (there is room), however their response has always been that there is a telephone box on the corner which would need moving. We've just come past the junction and, hey presto, the telephone box was being removed!! It maybe the first step towards a solution (but I won't hold my breath).

Somebody just not paying attention.

You should try Basingstoke for bad roundabout etiquette. With so many roundabouts you get to see all the poor activities in a short space of time.

Creeping out when busy - almost all the car on the roundabout.
Jumping - just going for it when there is not really a gap.
Indicating - no, you have to be kidding, none of that.
Straight Lining - not bothering to follow any arc leading to sudden swerves.

Quite a lot of diesel on the approaches leading to some interesting braking and wheel spinning when damp.

Late nights you can even see a bit of drifting on some of the bigger roundabouts. Quite a spectator sport.

A few of them have had a surprise when Aero has left them for dead clearing the roundabout.
