as someone said, what will happen when one automated call is answered by another automated voice?? And in the end, when all PCs have an automated voice, your automated voice sells your house to an automated real estate shark while you're on vacation.

Very clever of course but I fear we are sleep walking into a scary future regarding the whole AI dehumanising onslaught. Especially with the global programme to rollout 5G, something that we were not consulted on other than being told that it will enhance our phone experience.

Many years ago it was not considered harmful to smoke cigarretes and it was even the social "thing to do"
Even the medical experts did not believe there were any harmful effects of smoking but look at the about turn we now have with all packets carrying warnings and it is now generally accepted that it can be a killer.
The same can be said for 5G which we are now being told is necessary if we want faster internet speeds, better phone signals and all our home appliances being controllable over the internet.
Tests have already proved that the very high frequencies used by 5G are harmful to all forms of life on the planet and because of the nature of 5G, which can only travel over short distances and is affected by rain and buildings, we will have to live with a 5G antenna on every lamp post.
The companies pushing 5G are very slow to admit these micro wave frequences are in any way harmful but very quick to stress the advantages of using 5G. (I have always wanted to control my washing machine over the internet).
We are all currently living in a dense electro-magnetic soup un-aware of the harm it is doing to us. 5G will only multiply this harm many times over.
