You keep the paddle handy now then for the next flood  .. If you’ve got a paddle then you’re never stuck up sh*t creek !

Couple more shots of the repair I mentioned to it again to my eldest son this evening in triumph and he said “ yeah it’s alright but I bet it’ll chip easily”

He doesn't have much faith in your workmanship Stewart! No he’s a sullen teenager that thinks he knows everything about cars (and everything else for that matter) to be fair he has pretty singlehandedly completely overhauled and repaired a 92 Honda concerto from an accident which left it completely written off

Its truly amazing how much a teenager knows - and how little Dads ( and Mums ) know!! My son is now 33 - and is gradually coming round to the fact that I might know a little bit about a few things!!

Our Son went through the sound barrier at about 25 he's now 34 and great company and we learn lots from him now as well - he has totally different interests from us other than wildlife and nature but the same values, they come back to you in time all being well. We all did this didn't we ?  . p.s. Neither of our 2 Daughters suffered from this affliction.

Having seen Stewart’s fantastic repair; I am now looking into buying an air brush kit. A skill I have always wanted to acquire; though I would get a panel from a scrapyard to practice on. Also loving the thread drift about the attitude of our offspring . I’m writing this from a hotel room in Oxford. I had dinner last night with my 30 year old highly academic daughter. She currently works at the University. Though I love her to bits, she DEFINITELY knows best! With her in a fashionable Jericho bistro last night I felt both old and a total  Still, I’m heading back to Devon today.

Think I might have to do the same for the airbrush kit. Another scratch at bottom of n/s/r wing from neighbour's driveway when I returned home from the factory this afternoon
