At least I know my tank isn’t cracked, it wouldn’t suck if it was  I didn’t know my tank was split until it was picked up during its annual service. The split is at high level on the weld joint.

As I have said before Craig I don't have any pressure build up in my tank in either direction but being older it will not be subject to the same environmental issues as yours.
This year however a couple of weeks ago when in for her MOT one of the checks was removal of the filler cap - so I wonder is it something Morgan specific or just a change in the rules.
Others in the trade on here will know. Checking condition of seal. They did it on my bike.

It will feel very odd having an empty garage 😢 I know the feeling. (See Boo Hoo).

I picked my 4/4 up today, it’s all fixed with no further fuel tank issues. I had a good chat with Mr Steve Morris and Mr Mark Baldwin, they both made me feel very welcome. The 90 mile drive home was great, dry weather all the way and my 4/4 was running like a dream. I didn’t speed at all 🤔 A couple of pics from today
