RnR cycles in Sterling VA have a dyno. Thanks RNR does have a dyno but no on the three wheelers. Anyone have any idea what kind of dyno Krazy Horse or others are using as I can at least do a dyno search and find shops that might be able to do it. Appreciate any help. This is clearly a case of being in the UK to tune a US engine would be much more helpful. BTW I have also called S&S and they were of little help on the matter.

They did not offer much help other than calling some guy over 300 miles away which I did but have not heard back yet. Apparently, S&S used to remote into via your computer to help tune but they no longer have that capability. Very disappointing that there is so little support for our x-wedge and their own protune software over this way.

You may well find that the ECU is locked and can only accept new maps released by MMC via authorised dealers.
Krazy HOrse and Garage56 can supply replacment unlocked ECUs and almost certainly can include a new map optimised for better exhausts/cams.

Thanks. I received the unlocked ecu from garage56 with the correct maps loaded. The tune appears to be running lean as my pipes are glowing orange. The challenge is I can not find anyone so far who can tune the Morgan on a dyno. Clearly this is a huge headache.

I don't have any experience with the M3W or your style of V Twin engines but in the end all 4 strokes, Fuel injection systems and ECU's have similar fueling requirements.
If you are really struggling to find someone to do it for you on a Dyno, it can be tuned by road running.
The key is to install a Wide Band Lambda Sensor so you can read the Air / Fuel ratio and see at a glance whether its too lean.
It may be that the ECU you run already uses a Wide Band Sensor in which case you should be able to read it via the ECU data logging system.
Do you have the software and cables to be able to read and modify the ECU?
All my (limited) experience is with the 4cylinder Zetec engine with an OMEX ECU but the basic principles should be the same.
I'm not saying you will get the best possible tune this way (although an experienced road tuner will get very close) but at least it will run safely without the extensive damage an over lean mixture can cause.
As I said, I'm no expert, but if you're struggling this may be a route to explore and you'll learn a lot into the bargain.

I just had a look at the Protune user manual if indeed that is what you are using and there appears to be the option to run in a closed loop tuning system whereby the ECU "learns" the tune you're asking for based on the Target Lambda (Air Fuel Ratio, AFR) you set in the tables.
The manual seems to have a lot of similarities to the software we use on car tunes so I'm pretty sure any competent engine tuner could at least give you a basic safe running map.
If you study the manual you'll see what I mean. It was page 83 on the version I looked at.
Good Luck.

Sorry I am in Leesburg VA USA. If i can find out the type of dyno I can look for a shop back here as well Among motorcycle shops/dealers in the US, Dyno-Jet seems to be the most popular bike dyno. I would bet that Krazy Horse uses a bike dyno with just some platforms on each side to support the front wheels when in place. You could use a car dyno that most "tuner" shops have, but I'm not sure how the rear drum is set up. If it's a full width drum, then your M3W would work, but if it has two rear drums on car track centerlines, you may not align with a single rear wheel. If you get a hold of a independent shop that wants to have some fun, he may offer to set something up just for grins and giggles. Good luck and I would be interested to know the RWHP of a M3W in stock tune. Has anyone ever posted here what the RWHP is of a M3W? Good luck with your tune.
Dan
