Is that a knurled knob where the ignition key would normally sit? Yes. The key has been cut down and inserted into a stainless knob I had laying about. Held in place with epoxy. I didn't like the modern look of the OEM key.

One of the first things I did to improve the Morgan was to remove all the warning stickers. The one on the dash annoyed me no end. The Danger Hot sticker just pissed me off. If you can't feel the heat then you should not be allowed near a Morgan, a bike, a kitchen, a fireplace... Me too - as far as OCD goes, to be a card-carrying member, you have to strip the stickers off! I moved the dash stickers to under the cowl as soon as I got it home, and pulled the stupid "HOT" sticker off the next day with the help of a bit of LPS-1 Greaseless Lubricant (shameless plug - like WD40 but much better!).
