Sport Sand with Honey leather sounds superb

I love Sport Sand, it gives the Morgan such a unique vintage look

First of all, congrats to your choice! Well this experience you write above is an essential part of becoming a Morgan aficionado for a lot of us.

Congratulations.
A couple of tips on the radio. Insist absolutely that the radio has, or is able to have as an accessory a remote control. The position of the radio is such that it is difficult to reach. The second thing is to insist that it has Bluetooth. That way you can play music from your phone, either with MP3 files on the phone or internet radio.

I often have Swiss Jazz (using their app) which has continuous music and no adds. Also available is Swiss Pop and Swiss Classic.

I agreed with the dealer that I would pick the radio.
The radio to be selected will have a remote and BT laugh2

In brief words what happened before:
In 2010, we were infected when we rented a Plus 4 from Berrybrook. Although the weather was not perfect gloomy , we were intrigued by the driving experience drive .
Since then we drove several 4/4's, Plus 4's and the Roadster (3.0) in GB, Austria and Croatia and visited MMC.
It soon became clear that it should be a Plus 4.
In order to drive with a Morgan in our garage, we had to modify the driveway in front of our garage because of the low ground clearance.
In 2012 I discovered TM which was a great help in setting the specification. A big thank you to everyone here! thumbs

That's the specification we agreed on:

Exterior
  • Colour sand
  • Easy up hood
  • Mohair hood pack (brown)
  • SS wire wheels
  • No spare wheel
  • Over riders
  • Siver mesh grill
  • Luggage rack for flat rear panel
  • Luggage rack straps
  • Round exterior door mirrors
  • Wing mounted side lights
  • Leather bonnet strap
  • Union Jack

Interior
  • Leather honey
  • Carpets brown
  • Headrest with Morgan Wing
  • Elasticated door pockets
  • Door check sets
  • Chrome interior mirror
  • Radio
  • Passenger foot locker
  • Custom made dash with magnolia instruments (will be done by the dealer)
  • Start button
  • Moto Lita steering wheel
  • Classic control stalk (will be done by the dealer)
  • Photographic build record

This winter will be very long ...

So how is it all going MichaelP with the new MOG?

Luggage rack with sidescreen storage is usefull allowing more space at the rear over the toolbox. I don't have and I regret when travelling.

I will get my +4 in August I hope and was thinking about the leather bonnet strap. But i feared, that it could damage the paint after a while. So I get it without.
What is your experience with the strap?
