Congratulations hope all goes well.
I had difficulty getting quotes as my Aero has a carbon fibre body and uprated engine but found Matt at Henderson Taylor who are insurance brokers in Manchester very helpful.
Can't remember what the excess is but £700 p.a. with protected no claims bonus and 5 trackdays a year....well I am 47 (believe cover is through Aviva). Worth a call!

as mentioned on another thred about insurance I use Bertie Gilbart-Smith, he uses Equity Red Star and some others, and is very good, my Shelby Daytona 550 bhp, fibreglass £50k car cost less to insure than my Alpha 147 £11k new

Hmm - used headleyas usual and renewed yesterday for 900 quid. It's still good value as it includes trackday cover. My sub 10k, 10 year old BMW costs the same for me to insure for just me - and thats with a good no claims bonus, no accidents and no points for speeding. Insurance was supposed to get cheaper as I got older, but it seems that for me being part of the hot hatch generation this has never quite happenned
