Living i Bergen, Norway. Last week The Norwegian Morgan Club celebrated it's 25 year anniversary. Parade in Oslo's main street, reception in the garden of The British Embassy, then a formal dinner in a restaurant near the Holmenkollen ski jump. Consequently, a fellow morganeer and I decided to take the 450 km journey with my Lady M. Starting out from Bergen going eastwards along the fjords, climbing into the mounains. In the evening reaching my friend's chalet deep in the mountans midway to Oslo. A couple of beers in the sunset, then staying overnight. Next morning going down from the mountains, to the less dramatic landscape in the eastern part approaching Oslo. Quick car wash at a gas station, then the parade etc. Returning to Bergen the next day. Pure magic - early summer with green foliage and birds everywhere in the lowlands, late spring in the mountains with flowing rivers and patches of melting snow, the Hardangerjøkelen glacier visible far away. Blazing sun, long and winding roads, blue fjords welcoming us when we approached Bergen again. Life is good.

@Steve If you have problems getting in/out a Morgan you'll probably be posting the same issue on your next low car, be sensible and get a car that does your back a favour. He's right. Look at Abarth 500....terrific fun and the seats are very comfortable. Easy entry. Great car I've had a Fiat 500 ....utter rubbish tinny cheap flimsey and too small in head height for me. So an Arbarth 500 won't help me. But thank you I've listed my morgan For Sale on one Internet site. I'll be draughting an advert for here and car and classic over the weekend watch the adverts on this site I'm not a little guy

Around 1,000 miles through France.
One ripped off number plate plinth. One faulty fuel gauge. One faulty indicator. One smashed headlamp. Two lost bonnet corners.
.........so far.
Oh the joys of Morganeering

Oh the joys of Morganeering I hope you had a good holiday apart from the happenings and that they can be rectified for reasonable cost.

Thanks Richard, it has been great fun. Seven Fellmog Morgans snaking down from Saint Malo to Santander and despite stories of storms lashing France we haven't met one. The minor Morgan ailments are all part of the experience, however unwelcome.

No! But Pat did!
We went to a local classic car show. She drove the 80th for the first time and loved it.
I was relegated to holding onto the dog!
Quite a big turnout and an eclectic mix - including my 2012 M3W.
It was good to see her - but mixed feelings as I stood and recalled our many adventures together. The current owner who bought her from me has kept her in top condition and that helped me hold back the sobs of regret!

A quick 20 mile sprint and return to Halwell International where they were flying tonight, they sounded to be Rotax powered whatevers.

Just back from 2200 miles down to the French Mediterranean and back. Only issue a dirty car. Top tip get an "Overboard" 30litre waterproof bag and use a couple of bungees to attach it low to the spare wheel clear of the 3rd brake light. Easy to take off when parked up.
