Sad sad days

I've tried my best
went for a short drive today, I still love it but it's not loving my back

Quick shake down run in the new Roadster around Derbyshire, after changing some bulbs and a bit of 'snagging'

Only 5 miles in and we had a bird strike, fortunately glanced off the bonnet and hit the top of the 'screen with a right thud, and the little blighter kindly emptied it's guts everywhere

Lovely 45 mile round trip with a friend - I think he will shortly be looking for a Plus 8 to take back to the Antipodes with him. He made me an offer I very nearly accepted but my heart kicked in and saved the day.

Nice old Maroon E type soft top seen.

I haven’t today but driving back from the boat chandlers at Bowness I passed around five enthusiastically driven early Three Wheelers in the Lythe Valley 🤓

Fabulous run out over Dartmoor calling in for lunch at Badgers Holt Tearooms and restaurant, they are under new management and very good food now. Heather bought lunch so tasted extra good .
On to Princetown for a look and then Tavistock for an amble around, back via Yelverton and back on the moor. The place is full of ponies and foals at the moment as June is the Month they have them. Back via Holne Buckfastleigh and Totnes magic nice little 90 miles at 24C summers here.

Spotted a Marlin and waved.

Lots of born again bikers around on the road and at the Tea rooms riding those armchairs with wheels and limping like Long John Silver.

Had a drive out to Yattendon in Berkshire, classic car show, great day out with plenty of sunshine 😃

A great 60 mile round trip and boy were the roads traffic free other than interesting cars, I kid you not Morgan Red 4/4 4seater J318 NNH, MGB Paegent Blue, MGB Gold, Rover 90 Grey, MGB Powder Blue, Aston V8 Cabrio Gunmetal, MGB Red 2 x Lambo's Aventador's I think one white tother bright yellow, Hillman Minx Cabrio and a Blue Spitfire.
About 20 young lads giving their superbikes a little exercise too.


We all waved and smiled with a knowing look that football is a good game after all .


When I filled up at Morrison's there was a young lady giving the car a full on photographic session so I stood aside and let her finish, she was very complimentary about the car and a girt big thumbs up.
