Well done Peter. What an adventure.
I did not realise until quite recently that the Tiger Moths are now so rare.
Apparantly there are lots of look a likes but not many real ones left.
She looks amazing .

NNG was built in 1942 by Morris motors, so the aircraft is older than most of us, built as Construction Nr: 85504 for the Royal Airforce with the serial number DE524 it was used for pilot training through the war, flying with No15 Elementary Flying Training School in Carlisle, Cumbria until 1945 when the need for new pilots dried up. In 1946 it was sold into private ownership and registered as G-ANNG. Although well maintained she was little flown and has a very low number of flying ours for a 76 year old aircraft. About 80% of the aircraft is original, the U/C was replaced due to a ground loop and a lower wing required repair after a taxiing accident. She flies from Old Sarum most days, sometimes for up to 6 hours a day. Details here: https://www.goflyuk.com/

Interesting comment about the MGF.
We had two in succession many years ago. Both great value ....and best of all ...not one issue! My brother had a TF and he too had a perfect car.
Guess like M3W bevel boxes ...there are good ones and ...not such good ones! Lucky you. I go the usual HGF at 12.000km after 2 years (still much better did our two members of our club with HGF at 800km and 5.000km respectively) At 16.000km the serpentine belt got destroyed (2.5 years) and since it's in the same carter with the timing belt, I was really lucky not to have further issues At 20.000km the wheel bearing got destroyed, together with the ABS sensors and a few other parts At 21.000km I traded in for one of the most boring car I ever had, a bmw Z4 3.0i automatic. But never an issue in 4 years I kept it.

I was given the present of a flight in a chipmunk from Shoreham to the Isle of Wight and back -- tremendous fun - aerobatics etc first time in a chippie since I was about 7
I am jealous of your trip in the moth, Peter -- its on my bucket list!!!!!

Helped a great friend of mine arrange to drop his dad’s ashes over Old Sarum next month. His dad learned to fly on Tiger Moths- so seemed a good way to see him out. We will transport his ashes to the airfield in the Speedster.
Looking forward to the flight in the Moth.

Lovely run out to the BBMF event in the Series 2. I always forget how darn quick the S2 is with the lighter weight and manual box. The single side exhausts are also useful - only thunder on full power and high revs.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

A run to the Wilton wake up - theme: Best of British. Lots of Astons, MG, TR, McLarens... and just one Morgan.
But but but shock & awe... on the way home an S1 or S2 Aero pulled up behind me.
That doesn't happen often :-)

on the way home an S1 or S2 Aero pulled up behind me. Do the lottery immediately. The chances of that happening are incalculably small.

We did another 300 miler yesterday and met up with a roadster and three wheeler for much of it.The three wheeler stole the show everywhere we stopped and behaved impeccibly but that centre rear wheel really throws up the dust the aero is plastered inside and out.Great roads not much traffic burnt nose forehead and arm, Morganeering at its very best.
