Hi guys 2013 4/4 has sigma engine dose anyone know the location of the radiator temperature switch also would it be a Ford part or Morgan specefic

Hi I don’t think that the sigma will have a radiator temperature switch per se. I very much suspect that the ecu will control the rad fan with the temp information mostly derived from the cylinder head temp sensor. The sensor will probably be located at the back of the head under the coil pack, a standard Ford sensor with a grey connector. I’m sure somebody with a sigma will confirm or not

Hi Roger Thanks for the info,took car to my local auto electrician, got stuck in rush hour traffic , by the time i got to the garage the fan had kicked in
.Didnt realise the fan starts working at 105 degrees ''

Marcus, You are not alone in that. I was worried that my fan didn't work until I was stuck in a huge jam going to the Festival of Speed when just as I thought it was going to boil, the comforting sound of the fan starting up was heard.

Marcus, I live in South West France and today at 11:25 it is already 28degrees and rising. I have a Roadster Sport and one of the first things I did to it was to fit a fan override switch on the radio blanking plate. That idea might be useful to you.
