https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Buying-o...ed/qaq-p/632303It is normal don't panic. A seller can make a listing private to ensure eBay identities are not shown. This avoids people seeing information about someones activity.

I think that’s the way ebay runs now. Look on any listing and you can’t (well I can’t anyway) see the identity of the bidders. Only I as the seller can see who is bidding.

Probably a side effect of data sharing and GDPR ?

Well.....there’s good news and bad news...... Bad news first. I’m afraid I’m having to disappoint those who put a bid on the Aero. If one of them was yours, I’m sorry but Ive pulled the car from the auction. I can’t deny it’s a pet hate of mine when people do this. The good news (for me at least) is I’m not selling the car! I weighed up the need to free up some money and the pleasure I get from owning and driving he Aero, and I’ve come to the decision that I’m going to put that day of for as long as I can. I genuinely love the car and would regret selling it I know. I must apologise if there was anybody with a bid on the auction, it was not a decision I took lightly to sell the car it certainly wasn’t a “see what it’s worth” auction.

Once they own you they do OWN you. Good man. Excellent choice.
They eat your money, they make odd noises at the wrong time. They have all sorts of silly foibles. But they are just so different and such an experience after a carp day in the office. So many people smile when they see it.

Great news...sanity is more important than money....by my man maths!
If I needed to free up cash I'd do an equity release mortgage on the house first, before selling Tarka.
