Although relatively new to Morgan ownership (2+ years), I've noticed that MMC update specs (and price!) of new cars to include items that were previously extra cost options. Before this happens its possible to nearly double the base cost if all options are added.

The latest Euro 4 spec M3W's are a special case given the range of changes made to comply. KH had a new one in with their own special matt black paint job for £49,000 - amazingly it was soon sold.

No I think if you are in the market for a Morgan you will go for a new one, why would you want a just secondhand one, I think these are the one's that are stalling in the marketplace.

The other end they are selling quite well in the well used bracket.

Ahem
not true, new morgans are out of reach for many of us
second hand cars come with the advantages of being "sorted" with many extras added.
but
we're all different and on different budgets.

There are many brand new owners on here - I have bought new once and that was not good as things kept falling of it and windscreens cracked overnight in the garage. So I went back to the second hand market once more for my third car and unlike the new one has proven well sorted as indeed was my first Plus 8.

We all require different cars whether that's due to budget constraints or taste thank goodness.

Have you sold yours yet ?

When I bought my car a year ago, a used 3 year old 4/4 was only 10 percent cheaper. Today, just one year later, mine cost 5.000,00€ more!
My Threewheeler from 2014 costs today even 20.000,00€ more (incl. Euro3 look)
Positive: the current price policy ensures value retention...

Not sold as yet
very little interest in the uk
but
several dubious enquiries from FRANCE, ITALY, GERMANY. ...
It's the pound versus euro exchange rate I think.
But
having sold a classic bike ( 1930 cotton tt racer ex works with provenance ) never again !
They are such messers!
So uk only for me
I'm in no rush to sell but it will be going ,if not this year next year at an increased price stirpot
