Last week during our factory visit we saw this M3W ready to be shipped. Very nice color scheme but to our opinion a bit a shame that the beautiful engine is tucked away behind the headlights.

It really does spoil what was a lovely balanced looking front end I agree with you Laurens.
That exhaust hanging looks a bit different too or is that just me ?
I hope you had a good visit.

It's a fishtail exhaust, as on the Brooklands edition.
I have noticed that one or two US M3Ws have the headlamps in that configuration. Is that a regulatory requirement in some States?

I would have thought that having the headlights in front of the engine cylinders would severely cut down on engine cooling.

I do like that the indicators are away from the heat of the exhaust. Most US dealers i think are fixing the headlights.

This is slightly better than the Australian requirements. Slightly.
This is what happens when a bureaucratic mind makes the rules based on exact wording of existing law without actually looking at just what it applies to. Based on Section (Blat!), subsection (Tweet!), Paragraph (Elephant!) This. must. be. done...
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
