We were going to suggest putting him in charge of greasing the springs as well but perhaps that would be another mistake....!

Thanks, I'm a firm believer in the traditional art of British Sportscar Motoring though...roof off regardless! Rain doesn't bother me...I just drive a little quicker...(and at least it'll be warm rain!)
My co-drivers hairstyle however may not agree.....!

What a great adventure Tony, I'm really impressed. Whilst we have driven from Rome to Gibraltar along the coast, this is less than 25% of your trip and we did it during several separate trips.

Also, this northern part of your route is the easiest part with good roads and some great hotels! A bimini top like the one shown in the photo may well be an idea, otherwise it could well be a case of THIS! A storm cover to keep the car and its contents dry when you are parked up overnight, may well be a good idea too.

Thanks for the tip about the storm cover...and the song...perhaps we need to get an alternative version recorded for the trip though...
