I very much doubt the claim that it will fit +4 or 4/4 2 sweaters - I doubt that it will fit +4 or 4/4 jumpers or any other form of knitwear!
But allowing for 'sweaters' to be a typo then if anyone is interested they should go, with their car, to ensure it fits. Otherwise you could be left with an item of no use to you, and hard to find a buyer at anything like the price this one is asking!

Agree here with Quentin,
Hard tops from the 60s and 70s were almost made individually for each car, so the fit can be tricky even for a theoretically identical car
If it was made for a +8 (even a narrow bodied +8) then there is very little chance it will fit a +4 or 4/4.
At this price it is not worth the risk.

Nothing a spot of neoprene can't help sir, they all leak anyway.

Under these circumstances, with a poorly fitting hardtop, I would suggest a wide brimmed neoprene hat and cape.............
