That actually would be ideal as the sun will be hot! Depending on time of year.
Cheers

you might find the leather straps start to chaffe a bit Now you won't get rid of him. We were going to suggest putting him in charge of greasing the springs as well but perhaps that would be another mistake....!

With no hood it'll be difficult when it rains because in mediterranea the rains comes suddenly and is really intense ... Anyway it's a lovely experience. Good Luck !!!! Thanks, I'm a firm believer in the traditional art of British Sportscar Motoring though...roof off regardless! Rain doesn't bother me...I just drive a little quicker...(and at least it'll be warm rain!) My co-drivers hairstyle however may not agree.....! Tony Tony.

What a great adventure Tony, I'm really impressed. Whilst we have driven from Rome to Gibraltar along the coast, this is less than 25% of your trip and we did it during several separate trips. Also, this northern part of your route is the easiest part with good roads and some great hotels! A bimini top like the one shown in the photo may well be an idea, otherwise it could well be a case of THIS! A storm cover to keep the car and its contents dry when you are parked up overnight, may well be a good idea too. Good luck with the trip and do keep us advised on this site of your progress. How do we make a contribution without becoming an official sponsor? Cheers

Hi Aeroman, Thanks for the tip about the storm cover...and the song...perhaps we need to get an alternative version recorded for the trip though... ..."Only Mad Scots and Englishwomen drive their Morgans in the Sun...!"
We're very pleased at the reaction and support our trip is receiving, always welcoming tips and advice, and if you have any suggestions following your Rome to Gib experiences we'd love to hear them.
We will of course keep you all posted as to how we're getting on, and anyone wishing to contribute in any way, officially or unofficially, is welcome to contact me at tony@aroundthemedinamorgan.com to discuss ideas. All help is gratefully recieved!
Tony.
