Day 1 and in superb weather we arrived in Innsbruck after 7:15 driving time. For those who know Austria the route was through the the Ennstal and Pongau so maximum 2 hours on autobahns and the rest on fabulous Morgan roads.
Tomorrow we"ll cross Switzerland via the Klausenpass and end the day in Mulhouse. Too tired to post pics. Looking forward to meeting the other Vinmoggers at Le Mans.

That's great.
We are leaving tomorrow, with a Dover Calais crossing and night one in Hotel Hermitage, Montreuil sur Mer. The Dover Calais crossing is because our favourite crossing - Portsmouth St Malo - does not operates on every other Tuesday - and of course we want the 'non-operating' week - and we have to be in Le Mans a day ahead of the rest of you.
If you pass la Suze sur Sarthe drop in to see us, there will always be one of the team there - though I will be taking loads of tickets etc to des Hallais (and du Commerce) sometime on Thursday - probably PM.
See you soon
Quentin

Kerry, when in Mulhouse do not miss the Schlumpf-Museum! (Cite de l‘Automobile) One of the most impressive car collections of Europe and the largest collection of Bugattis in the world. The internet calls the museum the largest car collection of the world Have a good trip!

Wonderful museum...spent a day and a half exploring this place last year.
The most extensive Bugatti collection in the World along with every other make you can think of.
Only 16 Euro entrance and a great restaurant.

Yes the trip was organized to include a visit to Cite de L'Automobile. Brilliant. After Toulouse a long run with hood up to keep sun and then rain off. Met up with Jims and Rosalyn for dinner near Orleans and then this morning the run to Domain Les Hallais. I think we have some 1200 miles behind us. We've dined well with the other Morgan crews and the digs are great. Thanks Vinmog. Tomorrow to the track. When this is all over I'll post pics and write a a bit more.

Finally back home after a great trip to Le Mans Classic. The Vinmog organisation and hospitality was superb. To Quentin and everyone who contributed please know that it was much appreciated. The Morgan is now in a hotel garage in central Paris and on Thursday will continue on to the UK. I'll create another post about this. I think we had covered about 1,500 miles by the end of LMC and before heading into Paris on Monday morning. The highlights of the trip were the Klausenpass and three exhilirating laps of Le Mans. Being rescued by a Frenchman in a ´55 Chevy after running out of fuel was also kind of special A few pics of the Klausen and one from the line-up for the track laps. Rain, snow, Alps, a leaky Mog and wet socks. And two days later, lining up for some laps..

Looks brilliant.
Klausenpass added to my list of “must drive” roads.
