Just an update.Aircon still not sorted,found a badly corroded 8 pin connection under steering column/fusebox and repaired it.Control box still suspect but still unable to source new or second hand one.Morgan still trying to get a new one manufactured.
I have been told that someone previously wired it up manually but have not been able to confirm. Any help appreciated!!

Does any one know what the air con receiver dryer is from that is used on a MK1 Aero? (Or part number)It looks fairly generic but I have not been able to confirm the fittings/sensor position for a replacement. obviously asked the dealer if they have one but still waiting for reply!
