I ordered a script badge for the rear of the car as mine has never had one. What I got looks like it’s been cast by an amateur, then quickly laid on an 80 grit sanding belt, given a quick buff, then badly plated. You can see all the sanding scrapes and the casting has loads of sharp, nasty casting dribbles out of every side. Is this what it should look like or have I been supplied a cheap Asian knock off? It’s not going on my car for sure, I would not even grace my shed wall with it.

The one on my 2013 car looks significantly better than the one you have - suggests it's not genuine.

The Plus 8 badge I got from MMC (Tarka didn't have one for some reason) is well cast and polished before chroming. Not Rolls Royce quality, but it is at least metal and not chromed plastic....

I have an identical style badge gracing the glove box on my car - it was new old stock genuine Morgan apparently - from ebay several years ago. It appears to be much better quality than the one pictured - maybe its a fake or just a poorly finished one?

Thanks for your replies everyone, I have emailed the supplier here to request a full refund. I was so disappointed that I had not even noticed that it has been cast with bent legs on both the M & N as well.
