I have driven a 3.0 Roadster and love it. My +8 is ok, but does not ride nor handle as well as a 3.0. I don't think the 3.7 is going to hurt anything, but I see no advantage other in the U.S. it is available. And a big item is it can be serviced by a Ford Dealership (A Big +). The balance of the +6 Roadster is its selling point IMO. The reality is that with our speed laws a 4/4 with a small engine is very adequate and fun. But I must admit I addicted to the low RPN grunt of My +8 Bitsa. (not a factory built +8).

Well my handbrake cable failed in Sorrento & you know with practice you don't need one. But I got it fixed to get back over the Alps. Handbrake turns around the hairpins over the mountain passes eh? That's impressive stuff ! When it roke I followed a truck up to the hotel in Sant' Agata above Sorrento. Yes it was fun. Then I got it fixed as I had had enough fun.

Thank you for informations. I'm understanding that the factory 5 link rear suspension as fitted on the ARP4 and now the Roadster is different from the Suspension Supplies Limited so my question is : what are the differences. On the web site of SSL, about dealers they say that the Morgan Motor Company is also an approved fitting agent !

As I understand it the geometry differs somewhat, the SSL guys have spent some time getting everything to work together, and having predictable roll stiffness and wheel rates- they are suspension engineers...
