The engine was delivered to Morgan in a crate with no antifreeze. Do you know that Morgan use that antifreeze.

Thanks all for your observations. I may take a couple of litres out and top up with water. I have not done the maths but I think that would be about right.
I have not mixed different antifreeze as they are both Ford premium and I had the good sense to mix a sample first to ensure they were compatible. Ford apparently only make / sell one type of anti freeze now. You can get a dinky little tool for optically measuring the antifreeze to make sure it's the right mix. Much better IMHO than the Specific Gravity types.

I cannot be certain that it was Ford antifreeze that was in it but the handbook does say use Ford Premium and that is what I did.
I know its a Morgan and nothing can ever be taken as read but I do know from my test that old and new mix.

Hi, quick question , im considering the exact same mod to my Roadster, does the rad from Sifab come with all the bits and piecesfor fixing and connecting and was it a simple job?

Ford Premium AF has changed colour from a bluey purple to a purpley pink............
It mixes OK based on my tests.
