I was the original tester for the redline. I put it in a new replacement box and it has been quiet from the start. I don't know for certain, but I think it is the oil.
IYes of course you *may* have had a quiet box from the factory!  But... sounds like a worthwhile option to try! Thanks for letting us know! In my experience new oil makes things quiet for a bit...

Bevel box noise is definitely linked to ambient temperature, hence it becomes a more active topic of conversation in the European summertime but in the winter everything goes (relatively) quiet.
We all await feedback but if Redline are actively promoting this as a solution to the M3W bevel box noise then it would be good if they sold it in less than 1 gallon units and made it available in the UK!!

I was a able to get a sample of this oil a while ago to try in my Three wheeler. I had been using Redline Shockproof before I switched to the Redline GL5 85/250. My box was very noisy from day one. While this oil helps a bit, it is not a cure for a noisy box.
