Well on reflection, I do enjoy driving it more than not driving it. I should also remember how lucky I am to be able to own such a car as well as many others. I do think I am also trying to hard to prove a point to myself by driving it most days weather driving to our yard in Ledbury or taking it to meetings or into town. I think I am going to use our other vehicles more for anything involving potential traffic tedium.
Thanks for thought provoking comments.

It’s not for sale this week!

I love mine, more and more as it is getting better and better with small modifications.
In the beginning with a too small leaking radiator, too high idle rpm, poor dampers, rattles and moaning from the body, it was not nice.
Now i is nice, avoiding too bumby roads.

Sorry to learn that you’ve had to sell your car Neil, there’s a special connection with other 80th owners for me, now I feel like the only one left here!

As has been said, when I drove off from the factory on day one, the car was horrible.
It felt unstable, it steamed up and was cramped. This was because, A. Is was raining cats and dogs and I hadn’t listened to Anything Nick Baker told me at the factory, so I didn’t know it had heated screen and that all the vents were on the heater box were folded shut, ( the instruction book, which I also didn’t look at was under all our stuff).
B. And I’m sure it was really only the roads I used, but England was a miserable place to drive. M6 in dinging rain with crappy cars wandering all over the road, even lorries were at it, very poor driving standards.

We stopped at Carlisle for the night and the next day.drove over the hills to Edinburgh, That and the next 9k miles have been an absolute pleasure ever since!

I’ve never yet felt I would want to be without it and I don’t like to worry too much about the what the future brings, I’ll just keep enjoying driving until I can’t .

I have had my plus4 for 6 yrs now and this year I could have phoned a dealer to come and collect it for any offered price. I decided to fit the Mulfab brake upgrade that I bought 4yrs ago. What could go wrong went wrong from stripped threads on a refurbished master cylinder, to a leaking banjo joint because the mating surface had been shot blasted. Then finally down the road for MOT, passed. Love affair rekindled. I go from love to loathing and back again quite often. I think I might be bi-polar!

The truth is that a Morgan is bipolar. We Morgan lovers, on the other hand, are the most logical people in the world because we know what is fun...and that sometimes you have to suffer for it to increase your joy and your relationship with your Morgan even more.

Let you into a secret Jon if Neida's post hasn't already done so. All sports cars whether pseudo classics like the Morgan or supercarrs like Ferrari or moderns like the MX5 have the same effect on your mind. It comes from the Focus and the fact that they aren't bland do everything cars like the typical family car
To raise emotions the car has to have a personality something lacking in the typical SUV.

The answer is to use it for what it's good at and the Trad has a great plus point - it's tinker worthy

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, but on behalf of all of us that actually own a Morgan, I will take exception to the phrase " Pseudo Classic" when talking about our cars. Please go to your OED and read the definition of the word Classic. stirpot

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Jaguar has just built some new lightweight E types and sold the for 7 figures. Identical in all detail. Are they classics? Lord March doesn't think so and won't let them race at Goodworth.

How can something made lthis year be anything other than a copy of a class. using modern materials. engine etc? It's a better car than its predecessor offering the same style bit better reliability and quality. But still a modern copy.
