Graham, my guess is that it wouldn't be too difficult to fettle the engine to achieve NA figures +

That is exciting happy3.... can't wait for next years Geneva Car show to have a first hand look. drive

But if the homologation is for motorcycles in Switzerland as well .... then I have to save up for a motorcycle driving license first pale

Do not despair, Wilhelm. Have a look at your Swiss driving licence and you will most probably find the box for threewheeled vehicles already marked.

Greetings

100bhp - maybe they will limit output for safety reasons.

I am looking for mine as well. A fascinating Morgan and one I would sorely be looking to find the funds to purchase. cloud9

Graham

Thought you were a man of taste, the 2000 Softail Heritage Classic confirms it. I have the same bike, yellow and thankfully non-EFI.

Combination of the Morgan three-wheeler and the Harley engine should make this new cyclecar an instant success. Couldn't resist putting my name down for one today.

Cheers

Hi guys, i also have an 02 Heritage Springer Softail (100th Anniversary model) which was the last of the carbs - i absolutely love it and it looks fantastic in the garage with the +8

Regarding performance of the new 3 wheeler - don't forget the engine is an air-cooled, pushrod unit so pretty archaic in design, Screaming Eagle do make performance parts but they are mainly big bore kits, loud pipes and even lumpier cams!!!!

Sorry chaps, but:
I sold mine after 3 years as I was fed-up with the quality of the finish. Buying an ex-demonstrator may have been a mistake, but I was not impressed with the quality control... I wanted a bike to ride (yes, it was nice to ride) but it spent more time being cleaned, trying to keep the rust at bay and some of the electrics working. Maybe I had a rogue, but it put me off ever having another...

Cheers,

Interesting Graham, I guess there was no issues with the engine?
